ECOVADIS medal
August 2024, in the midst of the excitement of the Paris Olympic Games, FABER gets its medal too!
For our first CSR assessment (via ECOVADIS), we’re very proud to have been awarded the bronze medal!
We’ve already had ISO 9001 certification since 1997, and now we’ve added this new trophy to our list of achievements! And we want to go even further!
ISO 9001 certification
The Faber company, keen to meet the expectations and satisfy the requirements of its customers, is committed to a process of continuous improvement based on the international standard ISO 9001: quality management system.
Faber has been ISO 9001 certified since 1997.
This voluntary approach enables us to structure our management system around the following aspects: constantly supplying products and services that meet requirements, improving customer satisfaction and taking into account the risks and opportunities associated with the organisation’s context.
Last updated certificate ‘Prevention of losses or leaks of plastic granules’.
Due to its plastic machining activities, Faber is subject to the “plastic pellets” regulation under Article L541-15-11 of the French Environmental Code.
This article states that “production, handling, and transport sites of industrial plastic pellets must be equipped with systems and procedures to prevent pellet loss and leakage into the environment.”
The plastic shavings generated by our operations are considered equivalent to plastic pellets under this regulation.
As a result, Faber, committed to both regulatory compliance and environmental protection, has implemented measures to prevent the release of plastic shavings into the environment.
This initiative led to a compliance audit conducted by AFNOR CERTIFICATION, confirming that the regulation has been properly implemented.
The audit resulted in a certificate of compliance, which you can access via the link provided.
