Dividing / grouping products
Sometimes, during an industrial process, it is necessary to divide or group your products. To put them in batches, to separate your conveyor feed into 2 flows, etc…
We offer several product handling methods to achieve these results.
Screws control the movement of products by dividing them at a precise pitch on the conveyor. They can be used to create regular spacing between products, or to group them in specific ways.
It is also possible to divide your products from a single conveyor lane to 2 lanes. These manipulations can be carried out on a wide range of products, such as vials, boxes, various parts, pucks, etc.
Plastic star wheels can also be used to divide products into 2 different conveying lanes.
They are designed specifically for the application in question, as they are machined directly in our workshops. This is a very simple and practical solution.
In some cases, a simple guide in the middle of a conveyor line can separate products into 2 lanes.
This is the easiest solution to implement, but it may not be suitable for all types of products and packaging lines overall.
It is also possible to consider the installation of a diverter for more precise separation.
Customised solutions
Screws, and machined plastic parts in general, can be used for many different purposes.
Customized systems can be used for specific operations, such as stacking or unstacking products.
This solution is achieved using variable-pitch screws.
