In the majority of cases, you will have to use plastic materials for your packaging lines. We have the possibility, for our plastic tools, to machine a large number of different plastic materials within the Faber company, all with different characteristics.

Plastic can be used for specific parts (chain guides, side guides, sprockets, etc.) but also for the design of stages of components or equipment in your packaging line, such as endless screw or even starwheels, used to transport products at a specific regular pace for example.

A plastic resistant to breakage, with good impact resistance, and good dimensional stability. This plastic is mainly used for protective casings thermoforming parts, or even boxes.

This plastic material is designed to be used at high temperatures, it has very good mechanical resistance over a wide temperature range, as well as good resistance to wear and UV. It is mainly used for electrical applications, high strength, or friction/wear parts.

It is a lightweight plastic with very good impact resistance as well as good chemical resistance. It allows, among other things, to design guide profiles, stars, screws, rollers, scrapers, or even electrical connectors and surgical implants.

A plastic material resistant to cracking and hydrolysis which has very good mechanical characteristics, is self-extinguishing and which is very resistant to temperatures and chemicals. This allows applications such as gears, various resistant parts, and products from the aeronautical and nuclear fields.

This plastic is a very good electrical insulator, which has very good mechanical properties. It is rigid, hard and very resistant to abrasion. This plastic is used for food or medical friction parts, or even rollers, bearings and precision mechanical parts.

It is a plastic with very good impact resistance, dimensional stability and chemical resistance. It is also a very good electrical insulator. It is used for gears, cam wheels, electrical insulation parts, etc.  

Very good mechanical resistance, good chemical resistance, and temperature resistance. This lightweight plastic is mainly used nt for the design of tanks, electrical insulation parts, or even parts for plastic boilermaking.

This plastic has very good chemical resistance, as well as good thermal resistance. It is, moreover, non-stick and resistant to UV and bad weather. This material is used for joints, rings, bearings, friction parts, or parts with high temperature constraints.

It is a self-extinguishing material which has good rigidity, chemical resistance and electrical characteristics. It is used for decorations, tanks and containers, casing, screen-printed products, or even for boilermaking.

This plastic material has very good chemical resistance, as well as very good resistance to abrasion and severe weather and high energy rays. It is used for guide parts, electrical wire insulation, piping, tanks, or even chemical engineering.
